Bet you get a bunch of answers on this. I always carry spare head and tailight bulbs, Zip ties, some of the common to the bike size bolts and nuts, A small roll of automotive wire, black electical tape, more tools than what comes in the bike kit, some duplicates and some extra like needle nose pliers and a multi tip screw driver with extra bits, ear plugs, a cheap pair of the clear plastic safety glasses for just in case eye protection, blue loctite, JB weld, small flashlight, beef jerky, cheap circut tester - the kind that reads through the wire cover, and fuses. I am also running ride on in my tires.

in my toolroll i have....

7 combination spanners 10mm - 17mm
yamaha shock adjusting spanner
yamaha wheel nut spanner
plug spanner
set of folding allen wrenches (fold into the handle, and when open give more purchase)
good quality 1/4 drive ratchet screwdriver and socket set (allen, torx, phillips, flat, sockets 8mm-14mm, ratchet flips 90º to use with the sockets. comes in a pouch)
good pliers
electrical screwdriver
larger flathead screwdriver
9" length of hacksaw blade
tyre pressure gauge
test bulb
insulating tape
6 ft of electrical wire
9" length of perforated metal
fuses, flat and round
screw on cable nipples
selection of nuts bolts and washers m4 - m8
6 cable ties

all that fits in the toolroll above the headlamp (see pic below)

oh, and a swiss army knife in my pocket

most of this stuff ain´t for me, as the lardmobile hasn´t missed a beat since i´ve had it, but as has happened before i can get most people out the crap with what i´ve got in the toolroll.

Post edited by: erizo, at: 2006/07/01 03:57

the yami tool kit.... my multi tool (like a swiss army knife but is a set of pliers)... a tire repair kit, a mini aircompressor, a bottle of slime, and pressure gage, a few extra fuses, and some duct tape ~Guido

Duct tape. I don't believe I don't carry Duct tape. Thanks Dave! I also carry a multi tool. Leatherman Wave. But that's on my belt 24/7. I'm lost without it.

MasterCard .... no room for anything else.

You've receive some excellent advice.

I keep a spare headlight bulb in the front bucket. It's hell if you loose your one and only light.
