You're not the only one. I've wanted to do that to mine for a while now. I actually found a local guy who could fabricate the parts to make it work. We would use the single arm billet shifter from Yamaha as the foot clutch. My hesitation is I've never ridden a bike with a suicide shift, and have no idea if I'd like it or not. Once I switch over, I'm stuck with it.

I've checked out the ones that Marty does (see Gram's link) and with them you can go back to a foot shift if you want. I had a hand shift on my Indian and they do take some getting used to, but then again so does everything else in life. The one I had on my Indian was a true suicide shifter as you had to habg your left arm straight down to use it, as it came straight off the trans. top. If I could work that on a bike with a 12 over front end and no front brake then a tank shifter with a front brake should be a piece of cake.
