Ok.....This is new to me. My choke lever won't stay pulled out all of a sudden. If I pull it out, it pulls itself back. It happens with or without the engine running. Is there an adjustment nut loose somewhere, or is the cable maybe hung up? I'm trying desperately to get these carb issues behind me so I can ride.

Just in back of the choke knob on the fromt of the braket it mounts to you will see a black round. I guess you would call it a gromment. Just tighten that by hand and you will be all set. The nut on the back of the bracket holds it to the bracket, the gromment or round nut on the front adjusts the tension. Like I said hand tighten it.
