Hey Everyone! I just picked up my 04, Midnight Silverado last week. I have ridden about 150 miles since then, and the exhaust is popping at times upon letting off the gas and down shifting. Sometimes if I give it a quick rev at a stop, it will hesitate. Also, I started it this morning and noticed a little black smoke on start up! Also smells a bit fuel like! The bike is bone stock, and came from Denver which is at 5,200 ft. In Now lives in Santa Fe, NM, at 7,000 ft! Was wondering if it may be running rich, and How could I tell! I plan on keeping it stock other than crash bars, passing lamps, and AIS Removal, as the wallet has thinned! The only Mod I may do is a K&N in the stock box to help breathing! Wish I could do more, but right now just happy to get a great deal on a 1700! Any suggestions would be greatly welcome... Thanks...!!!
