sounds like ya have a real good boss... as far as saddlebags go, I don't use my bike for anything accept pleasure..which with the cost of gas now, may change...but I'll be honest, I am gonna have to find a way to take em off without any leftovers..I'm workin on it, been thinking of using the passenger seat mounting holes and building a frame that will work off off them..or do like Doc and just swap back ends..

Good for you Musky! It's about time you were able to get out in the wind!!!
Uh, If I take the misses to the store she always "over buys" and even with the saddle bags, her penance is to carry the extra... Otherwise, I'll take a backpack too... (sans squirrels!)

I don't use my bike for anything accept pleasure..

A road trip is pleasure. Going tenting for a weekend is pleasure. What do you do?? Grocery shopping is almost fun on a bike

Why don't you just get some EZ brackets or ghost brackets?

I've stuffed things in my jacket before. Please post a pic with the fixins for BLT's and a gallon of milk down the back of your pants. Or maybe not

A back pack would work if you wanted to wear it all the time. Squirrels optional.

Good for you Musky.........I 'wanted' to ride in for the first time myself today knowing it was going to be in the 50's by 3PM. But when the weather man said the current temps were in the 20's I sulked my way into the Saab I did get a nice hour or so ride in after work.

As far as trips to the store, I've got a pretty good sized tank bag that'll hold one bags worth of vittles. If need be, I can balance a second bag between it and my gut.
