SM Gray, Man you have know idea!! I'm so mad I could eat lightening and crap thunder. My father owned his own heating bussines for over 30 years in N.J. He always told me word of mouth is everything. My father is dead now but I can still hear him say,"Even if you hate their guts, always leave them smiling. If your bike is under warranty I suggest you check out your states lemon law. The only way Yamaha will pay you any attention is to take them to court. Hurt them where it matters (to them) in the wallet! I can talk now, but I know when they settle with me I have to sign a disclosure statement to shut me up. Sure any bike is going to have problems but it's how you treat the customer after you have our money that counts. I could talk for days on this but it only spikes my blood pressure. Yamaha has asked for an extension on my case so the waiting game continues. I'll have my day, but rest assured that I will not even buy a Yamaha keyboard in the future, but thats just me.

Law, I think it sucks you've had such a run-around on this.

All my bikes have been Yamahas, and they have been trouble-free to the day I sold them. Service has been sometimes hot or miss, but I guess the reason my relationship with Yamaha has been good is because I have never had a serious issue. At some point, Yamaha will need to step up to the pate openly on this SVS issue. Maybe the reast of us will benefit from a recall when they do to upgrade the valve parts.

I hope your day day comes soon, so you can get the battle behind you and the pavement ahead of you.
