Your ex-buddy crashed your V-Star, and you're now posting on a Road Star site so it looks like the insurance money went to good use.

I ended up with my Roadie in a similar way. Although I had to hit a deer to get mine. The insurance money from my V-Star 1100 went a long way towards buying my Road Star. It would have been a lot easier on my body if I would have just loaned it to a friend and let him wreck it for me.

ok, my turn. a lot of good advice coming at you bro."let it go" leave the baggage on the side of the road" etc. sounds like you're beginning to let go. If you let someone else's action determine your attitude... they won. He's a former friend. I wouldn't trust him again. Breaking one's word is about as low as a person can get.
