'Cause the rider knows how to ride so it must be someone else's fault.

I watched it a few times and I can't figure out why he missed the curve. All he had to do is lean in the curve more (counterstear).

I wonder how deep the ditch is!

Interesting video! The only thing I can figure is the the cager was driving really slow because of the curves (see it all the time here in CO with tourists) and so the bikers tried to pass on the double yellow.

The cager was definitely apprehensive, and probably figured they would take it out on him/them. See that too.. with bikes with loud pipes riding really aggressively and scaring the hell out of the tourists and elderly.

Our black leather and loud pipes sometimes frighten people that have seen "Born Loser" too many times, and they do stupid things. I actually have had discussions on this with people that saw me on my bike... and didnt know that I rode.

But yes.. the cage driver should have stopped and helped. But I can understand why he didnt, also. The biker should not have lost it.. it was definitely a mistake on his part. Novice biker, maybe.. too much power applied??? We will probably never know.

Thoughts?

Thoughts - Well, Have a feeling that he cage driver is afraid of everybody, not just riders. And I could maybe understand if it was a bunch of loud piped bikes with leather clad long hairs but they all looked like joe average out for a weekend ride. Having said that I don't like bikers that think they're cool by being a--holes. They make people hate everyone on a bike. Even if the driver was going slow the rider blew it. Passing on that tight a curve with a double yellow is asking for trouble. And the rest of the riders just parked their bikews in the middle of the road on that tight corner. I think everyone there did it wrong.

But, (there's always a butt ) You have to put all that crap aside when someone gets hurt.Be afraid later. Be pissed at the slow driver later. It was time to take care of an injured person.
