Well guys, here's my $.02 worth. As many of you know, I just picked up my new HD softail crossbones last weekend. I have to tell you, with the mods that I have, I have to be prepared to crack the throttle cuz otherwise I will literally slide back nearly off my seat and my feet did come off the floorboards a little. Like Musky said in a different post, I need to put some velcro on the bottom of my feet and my floorboards. Leave it to Musky to come up with a solution....lol Anyway, another thing about this bike, not all HD's have it, is the 96b engine. The "b" stands for balanced. This bike virtually has no vibration. Very comfortable bike. I do on the otherhand miss my 02 Roadie....don't get me wrong. But it was time for me to follow thru with a dream that I had since I was a kid....and that was to have an HD. Hell, might as well since I'm a bachelor with no kids. Right? So with all that said and being a prior Roadstar owner, there is no way that I could ever bash on metrics. Just like FrankieG said earlier in a post, "Ride what you like and like what you ride, it's the fun of riding that counts, and the brotherhood of fellow bikers and friends that make what we all enjoy one of lifes great pleasures." I'm a firm believer in that statement. Well put Frankie.

The Cross Bones is the first HD in a long time that I considered buying the moment I saw it. They did a great job with styling. My R* has me so smitten that it has quashed my impulsive bike buying. If I could have a second bike, a solo bike, it would be the Cross Bones. Hope you like it. Ride on bud...

That's what is so great about motorcycles. They all are so much fun to ride. I've had twenty or so bikes and every one had qualities that made it fun. I enjoyed riding every one of them. I have a 49 cc Honda Spree and a 70 cc Honda Passport that I love to tool around the neighborhood on. The 400 cc Honda automatic is great to ride around town, start, stop, start, stop, start and never shift. There are just too many bikes and not enough garage space or money for them all.
