boot hill on pipes 5 Years, 9 Months ago
Hello all.
Does any one know what to use on my V&H pipes to get a melted boot hill to come off with out scratching up the crome?
Thanks in advance.

P.S. To every one be extra carfull when riding at night. Complacency will get you hurt or killed. And watch out for pattio furnature on the interstate. It will "F" you up.

Get the pipes hot and wipe off what you can with a cotton cloth. Then you can usually get the rest with WD40. That's how I do it. You will get other methods from other members.

OK, lets hear about the patio furniture.

I was going to work last week on "a *POS* goldwing" . It was about 11:30 pm and there are no lights on the interstate at my exit. I just got up on I-459 in birmingham. and was just about to 60mph when a pattio chair came out of the darkness. Well lets just say "pattio chair *one*, me and the goldwing zero" The goldwing was DOA and i spent 2 days in the hospital on morphine. no broke bones but a lot of roadrash.

Damn man. I thought you were half kidding. I apologize. Glad to hear it wasn't as serious as it could have been. Heal up fast.
