Musky, how in the world did you find out about this?

I read about someone doing it somewhere so I tried it. The Stebel horn thread jogged my memory. I had forgot all about it till just a little while ago.

35.81754429 decibels louder. Approximately.

The Stebel is noticeably louder. This is just a free way to make the stockers better.

I used to adjust the horns on my cars back in the 70's & 80's like this. If I remember right the screw limits how far the diaphram moves in the horn. Screw it too far in and it doesn't vibrate enough. Too far out and it vibrates too slow or doesn't vibrate at all.

yup, if you screw around to much you get the "horn". I wish there were a screw in the gas tank that made the stuff inside last longer. 'course, the "nut" twisting the right throttle might need some adjustment.

Yep any adjustment on the electric horn is going to effect loudness and pitch..I would leave it alone...

The Air horns are loud and high pitched....

The stock setting on the Yammi horns is a nice low dual tone..I like it...

IMHO...the dual stock horn setup is plenty loud for me and I like the tone...

in fact I was impressed how loud it was CW my harley setup single horn on my Classic...
