yamaha megacone pipes 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
i was wondering if anyone has yamaha's megacone pipes on there bikes and how they sound, becuase im interested in buying them if there worth it

yep

I luv them..they are loud but not real loud and they do have a throaty roar..no need to rejet and the R* really performs with them on... a 2 into 1 into 2 performance that puts the R* on the track along with other speedstar
components...


That being said.. I have ordered a set of Road Burner Double Eagles with SLT ...they have been shipped and I should either receive an empty box weighing 44 lbs or the new exhaust...actually on Monday... cant tell you what I will do with the Megacone

but expect an exhaust that is very well made and at the top of the aftermarket exhaust...and well worth the money...

thanks guys for welcoming me in, i love my yamaha they mmake one hell of a bike,bu tim definaly gonna check out those megacones i like the way they look

I'm running them and love they way they sound. They are loud, but not 'car alarm' loud. I get lots of compliments on the sound.
