First Long ride 5 Years, 8 Months ago
Just got back from my first big ride on my road star and it preformed flaulessly. Road the Blue Ridge Parkway Friday and Saturday, then tamed the Dragon. Put over 600 miles on her and got 44 mpg. With the addition on a back rest and highway bar and pegs I believe I could ride all day. I hope everyone has had a Great Labor Day weekend.. Jreed

Only thing I could have wished for was better weather we cot could in the rain several times but the rain suits did their job. Now that I am back it will take me all day to clean her up....

Sounds Like a great time. My brother and I rode from Houston to Corpus Christi over the weekend. Put about 550 miles on the roadie. Beautiful ride and only one small patch of rain. I will agree with the need for highway pegs. The back rest was taken care of by the duffle bag strapped behind me. stay in the wind. Joat
