Have a good time Bru! Ran through that area 3 summers ago and it was 116 degree's. Made me appreciate water again at gas stops. Post some good pics , as you have me wanting to hit the West coast again. Thanks for the Rock store link , very cool. Enjoy yourself. BB

You west coast guys get such excellent riding...mountains, curves, hills, etc. Here in FL, we have great year round riding, but mostly straight and flat. Enjoy!

Well folks, the time has come
At 6pm today I am off to the Great PCH1. Hopefully I can ride from Placerville to Sacramento with Blkcherrybomb and enjoy a cold one with SMHOWSE at the Rock Store. I just got news that another back surgery is in my future (My 6th) so I don't know how many more road trips I will be doing which only makes this one even more exiting!!! My 13yr old has loaded up his MP3 player and is bouncing off the walls. Just hope the weather is good.

Right on. If you are able to give me a bit of a heads-up, maybe I'll play hooky if I need to so I can make sure I'm available as you're rolling through. You're in for some good weather once you get over here. 70's to 80's from Placerville to Sacramento, 60's on the coast. No rain.

Have a safe ride and hope to hear from you.

What a great trip I live on the southern part of the coast just south of the port of LA...the area you are riding is one of the best...The Rock Store is 350-400 miles south of where you will be near Malibu, maybe 50 miles north of me. Weather on the southern end of the Cal coast has been awesome...70-75. Hope you have great weather and a safe trip.
