Congratulations on the new scoot. The Roadie is special I rode a friends M109 today and it is nice, smooth and very powerful, but I could not wait to get back on my Road Star!!!
As the other guys have said sit down and make a plan for what you ultimately want your scoot to look like and do. Simple things can cost a lot when you have to do them over. One quick example is with chrome covers think about what finish you want on them so you won't buy a whole bunch of ball milled stuff and then decide you want flames or stripes or or and have to change it all out...
So far the only change I made that caused a redo was to put a Lindby bar on instead of the small engine gaurds with highway pegs. Much cleaner and more protection for me and the scoot. So if you need some Yamaha small engine gaurds and a nice set of Kury ISO Dual foot pegs let me know. They look good and work well, but in MHO not as well as a good Lindby bar.
