Roadhouse Classic 2-into-1 Pipes 5 Years, 8 Months ago
I want to put new pipes on my road*, but I don't want them real loud. I'm considering Roadhouse Classic 2-into-1 Pipes and Cobra Power Pro HP 2-into-1's. I want something that idles with a nice rumble and won't shatter windows when I get on it. It also has to look good.

I like the retro look of the Roadhouse pipes and have heard that they are not too loud. I don't really know much about the Cobra pipes. The new design with the cylindrical muffler looks pretty good, but I know nothing about the sound. I don't want to drop anymore money on pipes I don't like. I would appreciate feedback from anyone with experience with these pipes.

I know I can drill the stock exhaust, but I'm not real crazy about their looks. Right now I have Vance & Hines Longshots with Quiet (not) Baffles installed. They look great, the idle sounds great, but they are too loud when I get on it.

Thanks, Curt

P.S. Anyone looking for for some Vance & Hines Longshots (Not HS) with Quiet Baffles (don't have the stock baffles anymore) give me a shout. 99-03 Roadstar 1600. Great Shape with no bluing on the heat shields or tailpipes. $210 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. No international or HI,AK. Sorry.

Post edited by: bigwingboy, at: 2006/09/07 00:08

I really like the sound and power I get from my R/H 2into1 pipe.It does allow you to get out of the neighborhood and cruise at a nice pace with minimal sound. Now stand on the throttle and thats a different story. What year do you have? V/H has a 2into1 for 1600's that I used on my previous honda that I loved.Just my 2 cents

They look like nice pipes, but i really like the retro look of the roadhouse pipes. Thanks for the suggestion though.
