THIS ONE I ALMOST FORGOT... THE CLUTCH PERCH BROKE REINSTALLING AFTER RUNNING THE WIRES THROUGH THE DRAG BARS. HARD TO FIND A R* PERCH USED. I WAS AT THE YAMAHA DEALER AND THEY HAD A HONDA ON THE TRADE IN LINE UP... I SAW THE PERCH ON IT AND THOUGHT WHY DIDN'T YAMAHA HAVE ONE LIKE THIS. I WAS ABLE TO PICK ONE UP AND IT'S WORKING FINE. HONDA VTX CLUTCH PERCH LOOKS LIKE A MATCH TO THE YAMAHA THROTTLE SIDE MIRROR MOUNT.

ANOTHER CHANGE I MADE WAS TO WELD IN FENDER SUPPORTS. WHAT A MESS I GOT INTO WITH THAT. BUT IT CAME OUT. ALSO FILLED IN COUPLE BOLT HOLES NOT NEEDED BY THE NEW TAILLIGHT.

PAINT SANDED DOWN. ENDED UP TAKING DOWN TO METAL.

Thanks for the pics ... looks good from here.

Gas cap looks almost like mine.

What is the name of that color?

Just for other folks (since it's too late for you) .... if you do repaint your bike, don't sand down to the metal if you don't have to .... you won't get anything better than the stock primer.

THANKS DOC, THIS IS THE SECOND PAINT PROJECT I'VE DONE AND FOR DOING IT IN THE GARAGE I CAN'T COMPLAIN TOO MUCH ON THE OUTCOME. YOUR RIGHT ABOUT THAT FACTORY PRIMER IT IS REALLY GOOD STUFF, THE COLOR I PICKED FROM A COLOR SAMPLE AT THE PAINT STORE TO MATCH THE FLAME DECALS ON THE SIDES.
