Musky,

You probably ought to go ahead and take a good long ride today and it may be your last opportunity for some time!!!

Actually, with all the help you'll get here and on the RSR you won't have any problems. I'll give you a tip that may save you some grief. When you're fooling with the needle clips and springs, etc. get you a large, clear plastic bag and do your work inside that bag. That way, when you drop a spring, clip or whatever, you won't have far to look!

I think you'll really be pleased with the performance boost and looks when you get everthing sorted out. I have the BAK with 102 cu in on it and love it.

Good luck!

My thoughts exactly!! I got the V 102 also. Not too crazy about it saying "Barons" on the face but I'll live with it. Not like the bike is ever going to run again anyway.

Did the jetting today. 170, clip in 4th with stock configuration. PMS at 1 7/8. Ported the manifold. Lapped it and put in larger O rings while I was at it. Much more gooder now!

pday, I tried your idea of working in a clear palstic bag and dang near suffocated. Good thing help was near. You might want to not recommend that to people anymore.

And of course. And as always. Murphy was standing by waiting to crap all over my parade. Nice shiney face plate fell down 3 cement stairs.

Now you don't have to drop the bike.

Are you telling me you got the jetting right on the first try?

What a man!
