Hi guys 3 Years, 11 Months ago
Hey guys....how's everyone doing? Finally starting to get some good riding weather and I"m already coming up on 1000 miles on my bike. I have to get 'er in for the 1000 mile service and gonna have it dynoed at the same time. anxious to see what numbers my X-bones is pumping out. I went on a 150 mile ride last Saturday and got 43 mpg. It's gettting better. I wasn't too impressed with the 35mpg I got when I first took it out on the road. I'm feeling better with 43.

Hey BC

Ridin weather is getting better. Was out yesterday and par broiled myself. Look like a dang lobster. But it sure was a great day for riding. So how are you liking the new scoot? Anything you don't like or want to change?

My roady didn't start getting good mileage until after the 1st or 2nd oil change. I guess everything just needs to break in. Glad to hear you are enjoying yourself over on the dark side.

I'm really liking the new ride, although I am missing the luxuries of having bags and a windshield which I will be eventually getting. windshield will be first. Other than those couple of things, I'm really digging the bike. Everywhere I go, I get tons of compliments and when i walk away lots of people stop and look and point out all kinds of things that Harley included in the nostalgic look of the bike. But I definately need to get a windshield though....I really got beat up by the wind and bugs last weekend....but it was all good. I'm just glad to be able to get out on those couple of nice day. I'm really happy to see everyone out on their bikes again. Tells me that summer is here, some days anyway. Take care guys and have a safe summer. Talk to you all later.
