HELP/HELP Finding a 160/80/16 WWW Rear Tire !!!! 5 Years, 8 Months ago
As it has been suggested by many to replace the stock 150 tire with a 160 to correct the factory speedo error, where the heck do I find one especially a Metz?? I have been to just about every tire site I could muster up and of course the 150/16 is a dime a dozen but I cannot find a 160/16 except black. I need the White Wall one. Please does anyone Know where to find the 160/80/16 White Wall tire by Metzler?? Thanks Ride Safe and God Bless. Mike

Hey TOPNOTCH

I could be wrong but I don't think that size Metz comes in White wall.

Hmmm .... never heard of that one! If you really want to correct the slight speedomenter error you can buy electronic boxes that do the trick. These are especially useful if you change the front pulley.

No such thing Mike; the biggest Metz whitewall is a 150.

Mine only goes to 120 MPH. She rides smooth with the needle pegged there. I would like one that goes to at least Mach 1.

Nothing wrong with it. The speedo reads a bit under actual road speed. I think it's about 1-2 mph.

I've changed my front pulley out so mine's out about 5 mph. Also means the odomoter is incorrect.

The speedo's on a stock Roadie read about 5% to 6% high. So at at an indicated 100mph, your actually doing about 94 or 95.

Yea, you're mixed up. Too much of the clean mid-west air.

Like aceman said, it shows you going faster than you actually are.
