#91760 Dlm144 (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 96 Saddlebags spacers 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago   I have an 06 midnight silverado. What do you guys use as spacers for the saddle bags if you want to take off the backrest/mounts. Can't remember the length. You can measure back rest but it's seems it was 3/4 inch. They only had white so I found a piece of black plastic tubing that they use on pond pumps to slip over them. So far I have had no problem with them. I am still going to look into making a one piece spacer to completely fill in the gap. I believe it would look better. Hope that helps.
