there are several threads about saddlebags that you can search for...my two cents, i love the look of hardbags but they never seem big enough for me, throwover bags are cool but nothing beats a big oleee leather hard mounted saddlebag in my eyes...i am running saddlemen bags and love em

I have U.S. Saddlebags and I really like them, but I did a lot of looking around before I spent money on bags. I think the bags you choose are a personal choice based on what you want your bike to look like and how much you are willing to spend to make it look that way. I found bags ranging from a couple hundred bucks to a couple thousand, with lots to choose from in between. Look at all the bikes on this site and you get a pretty good idea of what different bags will look like on your bike.

Here are some links you might also try:

I'm sure some of the other guys here will have more suggestions for you.

I love my leather lyke hard bags. I don't think they look quite as nice as real leather bags but they are extremely durable and hold ALOT!!! Plus they lock and are as easy as two quick release pins pulled on each bag and your bike easily converts to bagless. They have made going to the store for small shopping runs and "honey go get this" times a breeze... w/ a little armor all they actully look like leather... kinda

Thanks jomasc! I really like my saddle bags, I only wish they would lock. The leatherlyke bags look like a great compromise of form and function. I can see a set of them in my future.

I really like the Yamaha bags from the Silverado Kit. The look and feel nice. Then I put Mothers Leather traeatment (from Walmart) on them and they are even better.

I like the heavy duty fake buckles with the star on them, and the fact that they're kinda square and preformed inside.
