Exhaust cleaner that works!! 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Rstar riders.... just wanted to let you know this is the best stuff I have ever used to remove stubborn!! melted rubber..etc from exhaust. After 10 years of riding I should have known better. The other day I detailed my bike and then decided to take for a spin around the block wearing some of those slicky workout pants. When I got back to my house I couldn't believe what I saw .
The worst mess on my exhaust I had ever seen. Of course I got the bulk of it off with a wet rag while it was hot. Then I got some off with brake cleaner, some everbrite and other things suggested from this site but still had some residue that would not come off . A friend of mine let me borrow some of this product and I couldn't believe it . Stuff comes off with almost no effort. If you use the product I would reccomend diluting with water just a little. It has a little grit in it and the first spot I tried it left a few fine scratches. After dilluting I didn't notice any scratches. It is a little pricey but does the job easy. Just thought I would pass along. Here is the link : http://vertexind.com/colonel-brassy.htm

EASY OFF oven cleaner works like it was made for that job as well. Just protect the bike from over spray. BB
