He was very frustrated as he had tried seemingly everything to get this spot off and nothing seemed to phase it. I got my trusty can of NeverDull, and it came right off. NeverDull not sure on acutal spelling, is an impregnated cloth wading. Not sure what is in the stuff, but it will clean off tar, rubber, oil and other type materials without scratching. It is great for cleaning up rusty chrome bolts too. I get it at the Auto parts store it comes in a can. Pull out as much or as little as you need and rub the stuff off. Coming home last night in a storm in my Frogg Toggs and melted the pants to my HK pipes. Started to freak out, but then remembered I could just check on here. This morning, got on the site and found this thread, used a little turpenoid (turpentine substitute) and a nickel---and voila, it came right off. No scratches or marred finish!
