just be careful with some of the glue removers
check to see if acetone (aka nail polish remover) it will damage the paint..
even some of the citrus removers have acetone in them... being in the sign business I have removed my share of stickers and we use Rapid remover no acetone and if its baked factory paint no problems..
but have mess up some spray paint jobs...

Re:Removing Warning Label on Gas Tank 5 Months, 1 Week ago
This is the best and safest I have used. I always heat the labels up with a blowdryer and usually have no problems. Yami must use a lot better glue than previous Honda's I've owned. I tried wd40, goo gone and still had some residue.
I had a can of this Honda cleaner and thought what the heck. It actually removed sticky with no problems. It use to be labeled as a Honda product but last time I bought it the Honda emblems were gone. I bought a couple of Yamaha ATVs a year ago and the salesman was using this Honda spray. I asked him why is a Yamaha dealer using Honda spray and he said it is the best product they have found. It is excellent for removing stubborn bugs. This can be found at most dealerships & is easy to throw in saddlebags:
