Exhaust Noise 3 Years, 11 Months ago
I need to replace my current drag pipes with something new and not so loud. I am interested in a 2 into 1 system. Can anyone tell me if the Cobra Power Pro 2 into 1 is any quieter than drag pipes? Any opinions on the Cobra Power Pro HP 2 into 1 and the noise level? Is either one good or one louder than the other? Any comments would be appreciated and helpful.

I know that my HK Sideburners are loud, but they have a deeper rumble than the drag pipes that I have heard. I am not sure if these would be any quiter??

My V&H Powershots give me the look of two pipes with a cross over to give me the power of a 2 into 1 and the sound is nice when I want to take it easy and loud when I really get on it.

I used the Speedstar 2 to 1 pipe (I have it for sale now). It has a real good sound, deep and throaty but takes a bit from the bottom end. I now pull a trailer and went V&H Longshots HS - plenty of torque and top end. They tend to sound a bit like hot rod though. I like the sound. The Speedstar is not as loud.
