I'm going to see if I can get at the PMS without taking everything apart. I can reach the brass cover with the BAK on but I think I'll have to take it off to get at it. My thinking is (because I don't want to take the tank and carb off) it's the PMS or an air leak. Or both. If that don't work I'll take the float bowl off.

Now you've confused me.

Did you not take the brass plug off when you re-jet? How did you adjust the PMS to 1 7/8? Or did you put the cover back in after adjusting?

You can reach the PMS with a long blade screwdriver. I put a mark on the side of the screwdriver so I can see how much to turn it.

Use gloves when adjusting

You don't need to take the bowl off to check the level. Just attache a piece of clear hose to the carb and off you go.

Pay back is sweet Yup, put the brass plug back in. I never trust those screws not to come out even though they never do.

That's what I said, sorta Allow me to rephrase

If the PMS or an air leak isn't the problem I'll check the float. If that's off I'll take the float bowl off. So I left out a couple words

Good catch though. Shows you're on the ball.

WOW! That's a first.

If you're worried about it falling out, once you have it set then a little dab of silicone on the head will do ya.

Shows you're on the ball.

I'm on both balls.
