From all the great feedback here I'm thinking of going with the Ultimate Seats. I'll start with the Pillion for my wife then pick up the driver's down the road - I can live with the stock drivers.

For those of you that have the Ultimates, how much of a hassle is the fact that they are not waterproof?

I'd get the rain cover for the seat shacky. The seat's seams don't seal the rain out and can cause some problems down the road. Worth the small extra cost and it just stays in your bag until needed. Not the prettiest thing in the world but effective.

Are you sure the back seat will work with the stock front seat?
