My Silverado did come with passenger floorboards.

I have an 06 Silverado, and have changed out the seat for a Mustang, added risers to my stock bars, a Brake Away for my hand to get some rest and a whole lot of bling. Complaints, almost none. I have 19K on the clock and she has run beautifully all of that. I did and do occaissionally have a puking carb when it gets really hot, but even that is a minor nusiance. I have had several bikes and none has ever fit me so perfectly that I did not change something. I am 6' even and have somewhat short legs. I find the seating position to be nearly perfect and the bars are almost perfect.

I would like larger saddle bags, a much louder horn but other than that this scoot was nearly perfect just as it was when I took delivery

The headlight rattle, which I think I finally solved recently. The rear shock spring, not enough preload adjustment for 2 up or fully loaded riding. The odd bangs and rattles from the rest of the bike if you hit a rough stretch of road. The leaking grommets on the stator cover where the 3 white wires come in. All relativley minor gripes, and all fixable. Other than that I have no gripes. I've had her for 3 years, clocked 17k mi and not had one second of buyers remorse. Harley who???

Passenger comfort - seat and rear suspension. Bike is perfect for one up but I need to upgrade if I want to do any serious riding with the wife. I would like to be able to take her for 2-3 hour jaunts around the Finger Lakes but that's a no go in stock setup.

I'm all for larger bags that don't cost 7 million dollars. I also have a few problems with svs, which I could probably fix if i had the balls to tear into the carb & see what's up. The guy I bought it from had the dealer do all the re-jetting & stuff. The mechanic there remembers having it in the shop about once a week for one problem or another, but (conveniently) can't remember what all he did to it as far as jet sizes, etc.
I put the BillJr floorboard extenders on & am quite happy with the ergonomics.

At at whopping 5'8" and 155 lbs, I (surprisingly) find the ergos fit me quite well. I don't even have complaints with the stock seat. However, my wife finds the passenger seat much less comfortable than my previous Shadow ACE 1100. She sits up too high and on a windy day, just wants to get off (soon).

I have gotten used to most of the noise, but to be honest, it took some time. (My ACE was rattle free.) I get a little irritated by the headlight rattle, but lately it has been hit or miss.

Overall, this has been my favorite bike to date. Like someone said earlier, I don't fell like I am always wanting for another bigger, faster, sexier ride. Although, I would like a little more extra dough to dress it up a bit more. And, if I could justify the expense, I would have another option in the garage. But, that is just being a little greedy.

I look forward to riding my R* every chance I get.

You guys who don't like looking down at the speedo need one of these:

    http://www.speedsupplies.com/partswebc/pubproddetail.aspx?seqkey=41520

What do I dislike about the bike? Every do-it-yourself repair begins with the instructions "remove the seat and gas tank."

The roadie comes with the headlight rattles everyone has mentioned. Clearly the passing lamps are a weak link. I agree that the mono shock isn't tough enough for two-up and a load. Heck, if you are my size it's not big enough for one up.

Likes? When I twist the throttle I don't get any of that moaning and goaning stuff you get with lesser bikes. We just move on down the road.

Not many...wish the rear wheel valve stem was a 90&deg job...PITA trying to fill the rear tire/check air pressure. Wish the windshield had a quick detach...HD is 100% ahead of Star in this regard and it really gripes my ass I have to pay $387 for the system that should be installed at the factory; what could it cost them $15?!?!?

Also, having to remove the tank to change sparkplugs is a pain...some how, some way they should have made cutouts for easy access.

Otherwise...I am very happy with my bike

    Regards, Ted

Amen TMK - a $1.50 rear wheel valve 90 degree stem would have been appreciated.

I hope I remember that when I change my 1st tire.

Oh yeah - and that LED clock/odometer could be greatly updated for a few dollars with today's electronics - the Japanese should be ashamed of that one.
