Dead battery 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
My battery is completely dead have a cheap 2 4 6 amp charcher goes to fault. I have jump started in past but I've heard that its not good any ideas? gotta go a hell of a long way to get new one without paying dealer cost. The reason it's dead got home from long trip shut off but did not realiz left lights on. Found out about 24hr later.

Why did you have to jump it before? If you jumped it off a running car that ain't good. Batteries go belly up sometimes and all you can do is bite the bullet and get a new one. Doesn't sound like you can trust that one.

Thanks is it necessary to get one of those glass anti vibrate baterrys for about $100 or is an ols fashioned acid battery for 26 bucks good enough

Since the Roadies have no kick start on them I wouldn't scrimp on the battery. I've always just replaced bike batteries with whatever battery came in the bike.

Thanks advanced has the no acid pre charged for $80 1 yr replace ment the acid bat is $70 with 90 days. no brainer thanks again
