You can. I'm kinda sorta partial to the Ultimate you see in my pic. You can order just the passenger seat which is waaaay comfy, and, if you want, order the backrest which slides into the seat for yourself.

WOW , just read this and thought "Proof , that we're never really happy". I am 6' 4" , so every bike I've ever owned has had to be modified to fit me. I've owned bikes from 8 manufacturers (dirt and street) , and they all come with quirks and need changes. When they (who ever "they" is) make the perfect bike......I'll probably try one......and make changes to it too.

seriously though , I hated my bout with SVS , tried 5 seats , ran forward controls for comfort, changed the bars for more comfort, added a bunch of performance parts , but can honestly say....I enjoyed my Roadstar ownership. BB

First three months I owned it you would not have wanted to ask. It spent more time in the shop than in my driveway. SVS at 800 miles then again around 1300. (Don't think it was fixed right the first time!) But I'm at around 8300 now and no more engine problems. And my local dealer and all the service guys know me by first name. Which has been nice when little things happen. (Lost a screw or two along the way. No charge repaires I like!) I guess my complaints are the normal. Seat comfort, Leg distance, No tach, Etc. All things that can be changed with time and money. But since she's only 1 year old last week. I'm having a tough time adding stuff just yet. Yami extended my warranty 3 months to cover the headaches I had in the beginning. So we do no major changes until that's over. My final note would be the suspension. Most people seem to be "Healthy" sized who own the R* (Self included), It would have been nice with a 700+lb bike and rider to start off with the progressive spring installed. Well that's enough from me. Don't want to take a full page for my comment!!

I think my complaint is that I don't have Silvasilv's girlfriend sitting on the back of mine.

I'd say my complaints have been covered. The stock seats, the weak rear spring, would like a 6th gear, wish it were fuel injected....How bout the fact that there are so FEW good dealers? I've always been treated way better in any HD dealer I've gone to.

The only complaint I have about my Roadie is...
I don't have enough money for all the upgrades and aftermarkets I want!
And, I can't ride it when I'm sleeping... (Although, the dreams I've been having lately almost cover that )
Oh, one more thing... I takes six hours to get out of this state and into the nearest mountain twisties...

At 5'9" and 180 I have to say the bike fits me great. Shoulder height for the bars is perfect and except for a rattle in front I can't seem to eliminate when the windshield is on I'm pretty happy. Big complaint..just WAY TO MANY OPTIONS out there and not enough cash for them all.

The main thing I don't care for is the cooking of my right leg from the exhaust pipe. It gets a tad hot on the back of the thigh.

Maybe I haven't had my Roadie long enough. About a month and about 2000 miles but I sure love this bike. Just need a little more cash for some stuff I want.
