viberation 3 Years, 11 Months ago
first post, I just bought a 2008 road star silverado S. I was riding a 2005 v-star 1100 silverado. I would like to know how much viberation to expect. afte riding the v-star, the road star seems to have some vibes at the floor boards. is this common. and thanks for the tip about the noise from the tank and to put rubber washers at the rear bolt.

Not sure how to give you an answer on "how much" vibration but it is very noticeable. Not so much that it's annoying or uncomfortable but your never in doubt you have a big v-twin. As long as it's steady and consistant I'd guess your just fine.

Not only do they vibrate to let you know they're running, they also wag their tails to let you know they're happy!

Anytime, I'm one of the least knowledgeable here but have only had my R* for about a year so I still experience those "is it supposed to do that" moments. You will find lots of great help here!!

bubbaburl Glad to have ya aboard. That a couple of big slugs of metal that it is trowing up and down in there. The viberation is a sweet thing. At 70-80 mph it sure feels good!
