Whining noise front wheel 3 Years, 11 Months ago
I noticed a whining noise this afternoon while slowing down for turn and stops after riding at highway speeds 70-80.mph

I didn't hear anything at slower speeds around town.
It sounds like it's coming from the front wheel ?

Does anyone know what it could be ? or do I even need to worry about it at all ?

If it sounds kind of like a bunch of angry bees it's the front brake, more than likely, normal and no worry

If it is squealing and you happen to be riding in Arkansas you may have a pig caught in your spokes.

How many miles do you have on your tires? My front tire started whining at about 5K, but only when I turned. It was most likely the irregular wear pattern on the shoulders. As soon as I put on a new tire, it went away.

Probably the brakes. Normal. Mine are more pronounced on hotter days.

My front brake does that when it's hot. Or when ever else it feels like it.

It's them Bee's caught in the cooling holes thinkin it was a honey comb. Just the pads going across the holes is all no big deal. Worry if ya don't hear it!

Ecarlley, I only have 2800 miles on my tire looks ok to me.
I'll go with Musky's reasoning for the whining because it was HOT! 98°
and Curt man those beeees how will I gettum outta my brakes cooling holes ??

My late uncle used to smoke bees out of their hives and take the honey.
So maybe I'll have smokem out.
