Do you still have the line running from the rear cylinder to the back of the air cleaner?

If so, do you have a small plastic line inside the air cleaner that runs from the coupling to the carb throat?

No I don't have the rear cylinder breather line hooked to air cleaner it is hook to a small filter that came with the K&N filter up under the tank
I have removed the AIS and all the noses execpt there is still a hose comming from the Surge tank to the carb that the directions didn't address the bike is from California what is the purpose of the Surge tank and do I need this line I removed one line from the surge tank when I removes the AIS
The filter doesn't have much oil in it right now so I know it is no just oil from the filter
any Ideas?

Sorry .... I see I missed your previous posts on the subject.

If the filter is almost dry and you don't have the breather hose hooked up then you need to look elsewhere. Oil is not coming out of the carb.

It's possible you have seepage somewhere and it's just jetting blown onto the cover.

You need to clean the bike, take it for a hard run and start looking for seepage.

Doc,
Do you know if I still need the hose that is connected to the surge tank and what it does, when I remove the cover from the filter there is a small amount of oil in the filter box not enought to see standing but you can feel it and the bottom of the filter is the same way just oily

I have over 1000 miles on my BAK and mine sprays oil over my rear exhaust and primary chain housing. I thought it would have quit by now. My oil has a pink/redish tint so I assume it is from the air filter. Every time I stop my rear exhaust is smoking from oil spray. I don't see any oil leaking around engine. I installed just like Baron's said. Seems Baron's would know by now that it sprays oil.

I get the same thing from my K&N I tend to get too much oil on it and it blows on the rear pipe..
specially if going fast on the e-way which is my regular routine.. air blows through the filter and oil builds up on the bottom and back side.. easy to check take a papertowel and blott the bottom of the air filter.
last year when my carb puked it made a real mess, but have not had it happen this year.
