Welcome to the clinic. I tell ya...this page has been a lifesaver to me as I'm sure it's provin for you too. I too bought a 99 R* about four months ago and LOVIN IT!. Just had the tranny work done myself at 44K miles. Again...welcome to the clinic!

Sorry about that silvasilv I'm bad about that. I had been watching them for a while. Glad you got some anyway. Wife said she wondered if I had beat out some one on the clinic.

Roadstar Recall 3 Years, 11 Months ago
Hey, just wanted to ask if you had any problems with your recall. I have a nightmare with the dealer in Millington, TN. I have a 1999 and it was in great running conditions. No problems whatsoever. I took it to the dealership to get the work done and now after 9 weeks I still dont have it back. They cannot get it to run. They said I needed to replace the carb jet, choke cable, and air filter. We had them to that. Still no fire. Then they said I needed a new CDI box. Replaced that. Now have fire, but wont start. Now I need a new wiring harness. What a nightmare. I called Yamaha and asked them to please help me. I am dealing with a bunch of retards at this dealership. Got any advise. I

bikerchick,

You might want to start this as a new thread, so it doesn't get lost.
