TOPIC: Fuel Pump Cover Forum Tools Post New Topic Show latest posts Rules

#97247 Silverado (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 39 Fuel Pump Cover 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago   I finally got around to removing the AIS on my 06 Midnight Silverado today. Everything went surprising well untill I put the little plastic chrome cover back on the fuel pump. I broke the little tang off that holds the top in. Any one have any experience with another way to secure the top in? I am afraid it will vibrate enough that it will break at the bottom where the screws are. I thought about relocating the fuel pump but I am a little partial to black and chrome.
