Patriot Guard Ridders - Flag Mount for R* 3 Years, 10 Months ago
I will admit that I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I can not figure out some type of bracket to mount a 3'x 5' flag and pole on my bike. Anyone have a pic they can post?

I made a bracket that allows me to attach the "window style"(see the image)flag poles to the rear of my bike using the license plate hardware. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

One of the locals here had a trailer hitch mounted, he had a square stock piece fabricated that took the place of the ball and was maybe 12 inches tall with 2 support rails running from the square stock to the fender mounts. He just slides the flagpole down into the square stock and is good to go. Says he has had no problem at 70mph running a 3x5. If I run into him again I'll try and get pics for you.

OK, after re-reading the original post my bracket won't work since you're seeking to mount a 3x5 flag.

However, if you want to mount the small 11"x15" flags I can help you out.

Here's a link to the photos of my mounting bar.

Mounting bar for small flags

I thought since I had the hard bags that these kind of flags would just slip in. While they will sort of mount in there, they do so at an odd angle. I already look sorta funny and don't need my flags to contribute to that look!

If you want to know more zip me a note.
