lowering bike questions 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
hey guy's

out on a ride today- lot's of turns- are these roadstar's top heavy
or is just me??? if i would lower the bike would it help or just
start other problems? i ride my friends h-d roadking it handles
complete better!!!

These scoots actually have a lower center of gravity, but lowering the rear, I hear, can help with the twisties a bit. 'Course, that means you might be draggin' your floorboards a little more too, and your pipes. And your kickstand might not allow your scoot to lean as much (some bend the stand a little, others get the shorter kickstand).

I lowered mine with the Baron's lowering kit and when riding two up in the twisties I drag my pipes and the frame. I put on a progressive spring and it still drags. If you just ride and not two up you can try softening up your spring some.

mines lowered in the rear, so to be in the front too, i think it handles alot better...I don't drag....o.k. maybe a little......o.k. o.k. i drag alot
