Last chance to get a Road Glide bracket 9 Months, 1 Week ago
Just wanted to let you guys know that if you have any interest in mounting a Road Glide bracket and have been on the fence about getting one of my brackets, what I have in stock right now is the final run. I've put in my notice with the company I was working for and will be headed back into the oilfield on Jan 1, so I will no longer have access to all the equipment to build these anymore.

I have raw and powdercoated brackets ready to ship. Price is $135 shipped in the US for raw, $165 for semi gloss black powder coat. The do not require any permanent modification to the bike, and are ready to bolt on right out of the box.

Brackets are CAD designed, laser cut from .120" steel, fully tabbed for square, and completely welded out. Also has the bolts for the inner welded in for ease of install. Bracket is designed to allow the forks to turn full lock without interference, and works with or without the fork tins.

What I know in another thread you mentioned the other items needed other then the inner and outer fairing. Can you list what else is needed and can the brackets come in a powder coat?

Yes, I do offer the bracket in a semi gloss powder coat for $165 shipped. I can also have it done in a different color for an additional cost, but I'd have to check with my powder guy to see how much extra that would be.

As for the parts, at a minimum you need the inner, outer, radio caddy, headlight assembly, and windshield. I also recommend using the turn signal mounts that attach to the crash bar, or some other edge stabilizer system (ghost brackets or crash bar delete mount), at the very least. The hidden inner mounts will fit, but they won't be as stable, so I don't completely endorse them with this mount. Beyond that is up to you: radio, speakers, gauges or blanks, signals, etc.

Generally you're looking at a cost of:
Inner and outer: $300ish
Radio caddy: $75-100
Headlight assembly: $50-200 depending on how fancy you want
Windshield: $40-200, again depending on style, new/used, etc.
Crash bar mounts: $50-100 used on CL or eBay

All in on the low end, if you can bargain hunt and are patient, will be around $500ish plus the bracket. Might even be able to get into if for even less if you're a savvy buyer.

Not to bad. What crash bar are you using on your bike?

I'm using the Mutazu 1.25" bar. The bracket will also work with the Yamaha Big Bar. Most of the crash bar mount brackets are going to be made for a 1.25 crash bar, but there night be some 1" mounts out there too, but I'm not sure. I imagine that a HD 1.25" touring bar could also be made to work if you wanted to add hard lowers to your setup as well.

Just a quick bump to let you guys know that I am now sold out of my original run of powder coated brackets. I do still have about 15-20 raw brackets left, but I don't have any intention of doing another run of powder brackets unless there is a big demand for them. If anyone is still interested in doing one of these installs, let me know and I'll get you taken care of.
