Well if any of you are keeping up with the Torque cone thread I started, you will know where this is coming from. haha
Yesterday, I was looking into the Torque Cones via LA Choppers, since that is the pipes I have, and it says "fits most HD models" on the website...so I emailed them and asked about the Road Star models. Honestly, when I email questions to companies, I expect replies, but rarely do you get them in a time-fashion that is convenient. lol
Not the case here! This morning, Rob with LAC replied telling me how to get the Road Star cones through a distributor. Then I thought I would asked about the squealing baffle issue I am having...see if I am an exception, of if it is something they have heard of before. He replied again, almost immediately, and told me he was going to go talk to the guy that makes them, as he had never heard of that issue.
An couple hours later, he emails me, tells me they think it may have been a flaw in my baffle, and asked for my addy...and within 20 minutes sent me a tracking number and has a new set of baffles in route!
WOW! I wasn't expecting that at all!! Great customer service from a company that makes a great set of pipes!!
Anyway, I was happy, Rob went above and beyond what I was expecting and I thought I should share the story.

Awesome.... It seems that crummy service has become so much the norm, that it's a bit of a pleasant surprise to come across a merchant who actually goes that extra mile. Outstanding! |

Now that's true customer service that you can count on.Nice to he about a merchant that gives good service after they have your money..
