Bags 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Need to get some saddlebags. I like the look of these ones from carolina leatherworks, but i'm concerned about ordering them online, I won't really know what they will look like on the bike. Does anybody have bags from them that can make a statement about their quality, or have a pic with similiar bags on the bike. Can't hurt to ask right?

I got mine from Carolina Leatherworks - they are TOP QUALITY, especially the reinforcment backing... it's thick man. Leather is top quality and it's very well constructed. And the best thing about Carolina Leatherworks is that they are the MOST INEXPENSIVE you can find.

I rate these bags 10 out of 10.

:-DD.

Their site says that they fit the Geritage bike.

Is that the geriatric model?

I think I need one!

I have a pair of genuine Yamaha Saddlebags here that I would sell for $200.00. I don't have the mounting hardware but you can easily find that on ebay. These bags w/hardware sell new for over $700.00. Let me know if you're interested.

Hey, thanks for the offer, but I already bought some bags and put them to good use. I'm sure someone will snatch up those yamaha bags though, and if not, i've seen them selling well on ebay.

I was looking at bags just today and noticed something, how far are you guys having to space the bags out from the fender to clear the swing are and rear sprocket...looked like about 4 inches or better to clear
