Hi from Tricky Air 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Just wanted to say "Hey"! A customer of ours had shot us an e-mail asking us some questions. He said there was alot of unanswered questions and speculation on this site about our product. We're not here to sell our product, but to answer questions. It seems most of the people asking the questions have some form of air ride anyway! So if you have any questions, fire away. We're pretty knowledgable about Roadstars in general, seeing as we've already built two award winning Roadstars! (Both featured in V-Twin Magazine Sept. 2004)

See ya around

Tricky

Thanks for dropping by and offering to answer questions.

The inquiry probably resulted from questions in this thread .... Air Ride

Although most of the questions seemed to be answered, my question to the 'expert' would be ....

1. Can you raise the rear higher than stock height?
2. Can you firm up the ride when you have a passenger?
3. Can you ride any height and if so does the ride 'quality' differ at the various heights?
4. How would you address the 'pogo' comments?

Thanks for you time,

Doc

Don't forget the question, "How might I be able to purchase one of these without taking out a second mortgage?"

To answer your questions...

1. Yes, we sell tuning spacers to effectivly change the overall length of the shock.

2. Yes, you can change the pressure/ride height for an additional passenger

3. Yes, you can ride at any height , but it will effect the quality. For instance, if a very light person rides all the way up he will "top out" on a bump. If a very heavy person rides very low, he will "bottom out" on a bump. Riding in the middle gives you max travel either way. You can even ride all the way down or "rigid" with no air, but that doesn't feel good either.

4. I just answered that in the air ride thread.

And to answer Drumdon's question... our retail pricing starts at $875, that's not too bad.

You know - I thought I posted this in introductions, how in the heck did I end up in here!?
