Yeah, I really enjoy wrenching on my bike almost as much as riding it, but even with doing tons of research several items really bit me in the a$$. I would probably be good to go if I hadn't got a misadvertised HSR42 from ebay which turned out to be a HSR45 AFTER I did the TPS mod to it. So I bought another HSR42 from a guy on RSR which has the TPS mod done and is ready to go. Now I just have to sell a like new HSR45 with TPS mod on it for what I paid for this other carb and eat the rest.

I know there are guys here with engine mods someone might bite. Mods done is a bonus for them. Hit the boards and move that sucker. GET "R" DONE

I know you can't return do to the mod but, I'm sure you find it a good home

I toyed around with the idea of an air ride as I like the lowered look and height adjustability. Flip and grid or lowering kits that permanently lowered the bike or are not easy to adjust are out of the question as my driveway has a big hump that would certainly bottom out if lowered. Anyway, how long does it take to install a tricky ride? How hard is it to install? Can I do it? I'm no wrench. What do you think a dealer would charge to do it? Of course air ride is just one of the things I want for my bike. Over $4K in accessories invested and I have plans for another $8K.

If you can remove the factory shock/spring asssembly, you can install the Tricky no problem. You just have to find a place to mount the compressor and switch. And you have to be able to do basic electrical wiring (its really simple)

Jamie's right Slyguy. Even if your the worst wrench in the world I couldn't see it going past 4 hours. And with the deal I give RSC members it's pretty affordable...

Jamie, I'm sending you an e-mail right now.

I have already yanked out that crappy stock tool pouch under my stock seat. Should be plenty of room under there for the compressor/switch. I too, plan on attaching a pressure gauge. Rob, got any room in my shipment for a T-fitting too?

Never did the first. I can do simple wiring (wired up my accessory lighting and spots). Does it help with two people? Where do most folks put the compressor and switch?

Scotto, I'll ask Tech if they'll hook it up.

Sly... switch - side cover. Compressor - under seat. 2 people helps any situation!

Ultrastar, just give me a call dude...
