Marcus, you will love the Ultimate. I had one on my Royal Star Tour Deluxe and it was all that and more. I have the mustang on my roadie and it works good for me because I',m vertically challenged 5'7". Let us know how you like it.

Word of Caution....Y'all becareful when/if purchasing a used Ultimate saddle...there is a reason they ask for your inseam and weight when you order one new....foam density, shaping, etc....you don't get the same saddle for a 6'4"- 250-lb person as you do for a 5'8"-180-lb person, and also, if you buy new from another seller rather than Ultimate, I believe your 14 day trial period is adiosed.

I appreciate the heads up Jona. Makes perfect sense. Looks like I'll have to wait a couple more months till I come up with the extra cash.

Wise words. I bought mine used from a guy that was six one... I am five ten point five in my boots. I have no problems and no ill effects when riding. I guess you need to find out how tall the person is when you see one for sale. I imagine there is a range for mass producing a pattern for assembly. I wonder if Ultimate would give up that knowledge.

My only problem I had with Ultimate was the "Custom orders" rule. If I was sure they were going to be this nice, I would have ordered mine with the blue Ostrich inlays, but because I wasn't sure that I wanted to spend almost a grand on seats not knowing if I would like them, I opted to have the 14 day return.

I wonder if I send them back, if I can get the inlays added now, and how much more???

Darn, the Blue Ostriches have recently been put on the extinction lists and can no longer be hunted and used for seats, however, there are other species of ostriches to choose from, Chartreuse, for example is a very popular 2011 choice
