Update on Barons Pulley 1 Year, 1 Month ago
I got a call from Barons (LA Choppers) and they got my messed up 31T front pulley today (sent it yesterday)and because it was a pulley they did not make (it was over 4 years old and made before LA Choppers started making them for Barons) they couldn't warranty it......BUT the customer service rep offered to sell me a new one for $50 including tax and shipping!
I AM a happy camper! Just wanted to say I was VERY impressed with their customer service. They could've said screw you the one year warranty is up and we didn't make that one so see ya! but they stepped up to the plate and sold me a new one at a almost 75% off AND paid the shipping.
I will definitely be looking at them for my next upgrade.

I wish there vendors knew the good PR that they get on this and other forums. I hope that Barons, SS Customs and others know that we appreciate their good service and I also hope that members remember this when they are looking for parts for their bikes.

I also would hope that members remember how DNA has screwed with Smoke on his purchases. Eventually bad service like that will catch up with a company.

I have always been impressed with Baron. This is the way to get repeat business. I want to put in a plug for Pacific Coast Star they are a good customer service outfit too.

In my company I will eat it if I can to make it right for the customer. I've had problems with shipping that were no fault of mine and I paid to overnight a second item at my cost to them and paid to ship the item that got lost back to me. I made negative money on THAT sale but, they remembered and a month later when their next big job came up they sent over a list of tools they needed - over $22k and they didn't even price shop me.
