there is on thing i wish was different on there saddlebag brackets though. they hold the bags so tight to the fender that the front inner corners of the bags are up in the seat horn area and limits your option for seats. you will pretty much be limited to the slim one piece seats. the only 2-up seats i knoe of that fit are.

the mustang day tripper but the passanger seat is only 8" wide (stock is 11" wide)

the saddleman profiler but again passanger seat is only 6" wide.

i ended up geting the danny gray weekday 2up-xl with studs and backrest receptical and the passanger seat is 11" wide just like stock. (looks like a few danny gray seats will work too)

none of those seats are good for all day comfort and i will find out very soon how long i can go on mine before i get sore

i was able to use the stock seat but there was a pretty good gap between the fender and bag and if you are going with the streached fender and bags it will not look right cause the bags will be out and you need to go back with them

I've found their knowledge, responsiveness, and customer service to be great. They both know and stand by their products (my personal experience and my impression from various forums).

I have their rear fender and a few parts from their bracket set.

What Smoke mentions is true regarding Baddad's and other similar style brackets such as the HD one from CycleVisions that I am using, they do impact the seat options given their closeness to the sides. I really like the closeness to limit the side gaps but it does require planning depending on the target seat. I have a Looney gel seat (that I will be selling soon anyway) that I put on to see how it looks with my updated set up and it no longer fits due to the new position/distance of the bags.

I also agree with Slothy that in some setups the Baddad brackets make the bags appear to run uphill instead of level to the ground depending on the bag types. Again, this depends on the setup and the suspension height.

I've been thinking about changing my rear of the bike with their bags and wide fender. Price is a turn off but their stuff looks good. Price on the newer duals that I want to go along with the bagger is also a turn off
I got my baddad stretched rear fender and stretched nacelle light. The fiberglass is worth the extra cost. I was amazed at how thick it was and the outside finish was smooth. My only complaint about the fiberglass is the edges. Who ever finished the sanding didn't do a great job on the edges and left gouges. I guess they figure the painter can finish it.
Also I ordered the nacelle light with the passing light option. Essentially what they do is hack a square cut into the lower part of the nacelle light so the passing light bracket fits. Again whoever did the hacking didn't do a great job. I would expect for the $1500 I threw at Baddad that the finish work would have been better...

Seems like you should give 'em a chance to make it right...either with 2 replacement parts or perhaps a coupon on future items.

I changed my opinion and would like to say I have nothing but good things to say about baddad.
Baddad has excellent products and customer support.
