So, I just got the bike back!! Seems to be in the same condition as when I dropped it off. Everything seems to be ok, but only time will tell. Still seems like I need a good carb adjustment, and probably re-jet it. Also need to replace the intake. Maybe I can talk curt into helping me with the carb and intake since he is the man on that subject.

But either way I am glad to finally have it back.

Glad you got it back. Now go to bike night at Twin Peaks and tell everyone what they tried to do to you! Word of mouth is the best advertising, and the best innoculation against potentially getting ripped off!

So I have had my bike back for about two weeks now. A couple days ago, the air cleaner was about to fall off. Put it back on, no big deal. Last night I was trying to adjust the pms on the carb, and it fell off the intake. They didn't even tighten the clamp.

I really hope I never have to bring it to them for anything!!

I have been thinking of opening a shop as well. I have been a professional mechanic for 12 years. I have just about everything that is needed. Also a guy I work with is a certified bike mechanic. Went to MMI, is Harley, Honda, yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki certified. We work on bikes all the time. I keep trying to find a way to get funding, but no luck. I would love to do something like that.

I am also a tattoo artist and have been trying to find a way to fund opening that shop as well. But you need credit and collateral. Which I don't have.

Maybe some day!!
Come to my shop, you can use it to work on folks bikes, cuz I won't work on them. I'm always turning folks away.
