Silverado Saddlebag "flapping" 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
As the saddle bags age, the leather has become more pliable. As a result, the front edge began lifting up and flapping in the breeze at highway speeds. I thought about adding snaps or velcro to hold them down and then I thought of magnets. I went to the IT deparment at work and asked for some old junk hard drives. (These things have some really strong magnets in them.) After lining them up, I used Gorilla Glue to hold them in place. These things work like a charm and are completely invisible when the bags are closed. I even left the bags un-latched and ran it up to 80mph. The bags stayed closed. This is just a free and simple fix to one of those things that just bugged me.

Now that I've taken pictures, I'll hit the magnets with some model paint to really make them disappear.
