Just noticed you have a 99, be sure to have them put the newer drive gear in for the oil pump...

I guess that would depend how satisfied you are with the way she runs now, and how much cash you have laying around.. but the pump drive has been found to be a bit weak in the earlier models so yami beefed it up a bit and IMO should be changed when your in there.....

You may also want to consider SVS. I got it on my '02 due to clogged air filter and carbon build-up in the rear cylinder.

Vibrations were so bad at higher speeds that it would shake my eyeballs loose. It was kind of hard to ride with them layin' on my cheeks!

After the Cure and addition of a Nemesis manifold to stop leaking, the bike runs great.

Re:engine vib. 3 Years, 4 Months ago
Hi all, Up till now my 04 Roadie 1700 has been bullett proof. However on her 40,000 B-day she developed a vibration while the misses and I had her out on our saturday ride running a little above 70 thats the way she likes it. Vibration feels like the engine and you don't feel it all the time, seems like I can feel it more at acceleration but definatly above 70. Engine is stock except for exhaust Vance&Hines pipes and Arlen Ness big sucker air cleaner kit. I have ordered a new front tire because it needs to be replaced. Any suggestions.
Thanks Wingman

I'd start with pulling the spark plugs. Might be missing a little under load.

just my first thought
