I think I just did a "Stage .8". Got my r* Friday night, 0 miles, 08 leftover. After reading all the Stage posts, I went the simple route. Drilled 8 evenly spaced 1/8th holes in the back of the pipe between the current exhaust outlet hole and the edge of the pipe. Then went in another 2" and drilled a hole in the first internal baffle. Outer surface is thicker and harder to drill, inside is thin and easy. Followed that up with a 1/4 bit", and finally with a 3/8" bit. So I am not all the way to Stage 1, as I don't have 1/2" holes. However, I got exactly what I wanted, good sounding pipes, no cop is going to hassle me, and I won't get a headache on a 600 mile day. Highly recommend this to any that haven't done it yet. You can even stop after the 1/4" holes, give it a try for a few days, before going on to 3/8.
